Is there any way to transfer label data (TODO, Work etc.) between
installations of Evolution on different machines? I use Evo on three
different machines to access my mail over IMAP, and it's a pain
labelling emails on one machine, only for that information to be
available when I'm reading it later on a different one.
My pet peeve. ;) Yeah, storing labels on the IMAP server is the feature
I would like to see the most. I even would dump my current IMAP server,
as most servers don't seem to support this...
Anyway, that said:
Yes, copying this data should be possible, although it's not trivial.
AFAIK this data is stored in your ~/.evolution/mail/imap/ directory [1].
Copying this data across machines should solve it.
In fact, I remember I did this months (years?) ago, when setting up
another Evolution with all my custom configuration.
Be sure to use only the very same Evolution version on all machines. HTH

[1] Evolution 2.0 -- if you still use 1.4.x, it's another path.
