Glad I saw this note!
I was about to start using birthday settings in Evo 2.0.2. I had
manually set birthday alarms in V 1.4 and I REALLY relay on the alarms.
It would be nice to have marriage anniversaries too.
But all in all Evolution is a nice tool! They have done a good job with
it.

no, evo is missing the code for adding the alarm for birthdays. So
please, file a bug to bugzilla.ximian.com
