I find it weird that you're getting errors like this - they should
presumably fail during configure, because you don't have the right
versions installed.
What happens when you try and install the evolution and associated
rpm's from red-carpet? And/or with nodeps?
They rely upon glibc2.3.x - I can't use them.
I've gotten all the RPMs built, and installed into our freshly imaged
machine. My problem now is that when I login, magic-dev, nautalis, and
gnome-panel all crash. I just DL'd the src.rpm for magic-dev and when I
go to install the built rpm, I get:
rpm --test --nodeps -Uvh magicdev-1.1.3-1.i386.rpm
Preparing... ###########################################

package magicdev-1.1.3-1 is already installed
file /usr/bin/gnome-cd-properties from install of
magicdev-1.1.3-1 conflicts with file from package magicdev-1.1.3-1
file /usr/bin/magicdev from install of magicdev-1.1.3-1
conflicts with file from package magicdev-1.1.3-1
rpm -q --whatprovides /usr/bin/gnome-cd-properties

I am little unsure about which way to go next, but will keep banging
away and if anyone has a suggestion, please let me know.
