that's totally normal.
If I click on the "To:" button in the composer I get the following: asked to activate component_id `OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_Addressbook_SelectNames:1.5' My address book db files in ~/.evolution/addressbook/local/system/ appear to be intact.. so I guess this is some kind of problem with bonobo activation??
my first wild guess (beside checking file access rights) would be checking if evolution-data-server is running, e.g. by typing "top -b -n1 | grep evolution" if there isn't any output beginning with "evolution-d" (for data- server), this should be a problem - but that's only my first guess. cheers, andre -- mailto:ak-47 gmx net | failed! http://www.iomc.de
