hi thor,

i assume you use pop to get your email and not imap. ;-)

this could be http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=48603 which is
solved in 1.5 (be aware: 1.5 is an unstable development version, wait
for 2.0 which will be out in the next three months if you don't want to
live on the edge).

Or... you could implement a IMAP server, and set up your own web
mail system.

That is the "correct" way, since if you have a Post Office Box
(or whatever they are call in Europe), you go there, get your
mail, and leave. Sure, you could read your mail, and stuff it back
in the box, but, soon, your box would be full, and the Post Office
employees couldn't deliver any more mail to you.

Why jobs are being out-sourced to 2nd & 3rd world nations: Unions
and Liberalism.
Unions for a general raising of wages, and Liberalism for the
creation of The Nanny State, which creates a *relatively* high
minimum wage, and *lots* of well meaning regulations that drive
up employment costs.
Lastly, Unions, Liberalism and it's offspring "the Me Generation"
have destroyed the educational system, at the same time that 2nd
& 3rd world nations are pumping out millions of highly educated
people who can live like princes on a fraction of US or Western
European wages.
