[Evolution] mutliple downloads of single email message

Hello,

I am running Evolution 1.4 on Fedora Core 2.

I have set up my email so that I leave messages on the server so that I 
can view them from a different location.  It appears as though Evolution 
is continually downloading all messages from the server even if there is 
already a copy in my inbox.  What have I done wrong?  How can I fix this?
