ok, compiled evo again with --enable-nntp=yes 

now I can create newsgroup accounts.

But I cannot use them. Evo crashes when it tries to get the list of available groups.
I tried with two different servers, one I have to log on and one that is free - both crash when trying to 
subscribe 

better wait for the next Release of Evolution?
