Do not use gpg-agent. This is a setting in your ~/.gnupg/options file
(or the more recent gpg.conf). Disable this and it should solve your
problems.

Yep, this mainly is a GPG settings issue.

btw: Jeff, didn't you plan to support gpg-agent? This still seems to be
an issue with recent devel snapshots.
