it is simply too crucial an application for me. I completely rely on it.
That is meant to let you know what an amazing application you've
written. As a web developer the only things on the desktop I used to be
absolutely dependent on were Emacs and Mozilla; for Evolution to have
joined company with them is actually pretty impressive. I'm not a big
company, I'm a one-guy contractor/consultant; I don't have an enormous
number of clients, but rather just a nice number of quality ones. But I
now manage so much of my business life and my private life from within
Evolution that I realised that I actually rely on Evolution even more
than Mozilla (after all, I'm knowledgeable enough to work around bugs in
Mozilla). It's just my way of saying thank you, and also apologising for
not contributing more .. which come to think of it must be a bit of a
pain for you guys: the better your product the fewer beta testers you
might get!

heh, that's a good sign anyway :-)

As for beta testing current 1.5, mail is working pretty well, and
contacts also work quite good. Calendar is a bit behind still, so might
be a problem, but if you only need evo for email and contacts, I'd
suggest you to beta test it, at least starting with a test user to
confirm its stability before moving over fully to it.

And thanks for the support :-)

cheers
