Another issue is, you know, many error messages are confusing for a
first time user who has possibly zero knowledge about POP, IMAP, SMTP or
such. I'm afraid I won't hesitate that much to simplify these a bit, if
I'm able to ;)

BTW, what about a string freeze? Are we so free to change that many
strings in Evolution?
