I updated the libgnomeprint packages (libgnomeprint22,
libgnomeprint22-devel and libgnomeprintui22) via red-carpet
and the print and preview font problem has effectively gone.
Changing fonts in evolution-1.4.5's control centre does
now affect simultaneously screen fonts and print/preview fonts.
