I have a strange "bug" in Evolution. I receives mails containing
norwegian letters and this usually works ok. But sometimes, the
norwegian letters are all screwed up. Others that opens the same mail
with other clients doesn't have this problem. Is this i Evolution
thing or some thing that is not set? And how do I fix it, if possible?
Known issue, also happens in German, French, ... The reason why you see
these only in some cases is it's dependent on message size (counting the
complete message, headers and body). But is in bugzilla and promised to
be finally fixed. In the meantime, choose View -> Encoding -> UTF-8
It actually *is* fixed right now, if you feel adventurous enough for the
snapshots.
I can confirm this bug to be resolved. And believe me, is it worth
running snapshot versions, if you otherwise would not feel like it... ;)
