[Evolution] IMAP offline storage

Hey all.  I was wondering how evo is supposed to handle offline storage
of IMAP folders.

Under Tools > Settings ; Folder Settings > Offline Folders  I can check
which folders I would like to be able to view/use offline.

This works fine if I connect to the server, and then go to File > Work
Offline .  It appears to sync up my mail, and I can work with it with no
problems.

The problem is that if I am not connected to the network when I fire up
Evo, my selected offline folders do not show up.  I  get error messages
about not connecting to the server (expected).  I tried going to File >
Work Offline, and I get error messages about not being able to contact
the server.

Am I missing an option or is this not functional yet?
