Hi,
I'm using evolution since it's available and like most of it's features.
One thing I'm missing are a few more attributes for the filter function.
It would be nice if one could decide if a filter get's applied
automatically in the Inbox (and it would be nice to be able to specify
multiple inboxes per server) or if it needs manual activation on
selected mails.
I'm using an IMAP server as my main mail source. Most mails are
presorted into folders by the server (Cyrus with Sieve filter scripts).
The client side (evolution) filter are set up to sort (read) mails into
individual folders, mostly by sender. This all works fine, I read a mail
and use Ctrl-Y to move it from the inbox to it's archive location.
This all works fine, however I need to turn off the automatic 'Apply
filter to Inbox' feature.
It would be nice to have some filters being applied automatically ie to
highlight certain messages or play different sounds for incoming email
depending on urgency etc. A dialog in the style of 'Apply this filter to
new messages in folders ... ' with a way to select a list of folders on
a per filter base would make this possible.
Anybody else who thinks this may be useful?
Thanks,
BB
