Please, do not reply to messages to start an unrelated thread. That
messes up threading...
I know this was on the list before and I had a look into the IDL files
of Evolution, but
is there an easy way to toggle online/offline state from shell.
I just don't want to dig into CORBA and Bonobo to write my own
(probably 5 lines) C++
prog to do this.
As it has been on the list before, maybe somebody has written
something linke this.
The only way I know of, is to _start_ Evolution forced in online /
offline mode:
# evolution --offline
# evolution --online
I do not know of any way to trigger that from shell -- I assume you
wanna toggle by script. While using Evolution, you quickly can use the
'plug' symbol in the left bottom corner. HTH
