Re: [Evolution] Strangeness in IMAP?

I am seeing some strange things with my IMAP folders and was wondering
if anyone else is seeing this.

I have a folder set up to get any mail that doesn't get auto-learned by
Spam Assassin. I then go through this folder here and there and put the
spam in the spam folder and the ham in the ham folder. Well, I usually
search on strings for mails I know ham, (like cron or something). I
then hit something like Ctrl-A to get all the messages I just searched
and drag them to the ham folder. Well, it SEEMS like the Ctrl-A is
grabbing ALL of the messages, not just the searched ones when I do the
drag and drop. It only marks the searched messages for deletion, but
every message in the folder gets moved to the other folder (which in
turn really messes up my spam/ham stuff). Anyone else seeing anything
like this? It should be pretty easy to test.

Nope, I cannot verify this. Never seen such thing and just tested it --
works perfectly for me.

Tested with Evolution 1.2.4, 1.3.3

What I did: Created some test messages and have them moved to test/inbox
on my IMAP server. Then used the search bar right above the message list
to find all subject={ham|spam} messages. Ctrl-A[1] to mark them and
moved them by dnd to the test/{ham|spam} folders.

No wrong messages moved, all fine.

...guenther

[1] Ctrl-A works right from the text input field (search bar) in Evo
1.3.3 (yeah, great, thanks hackers!). Evo 1.2.4 needed focus in the
messages list, first.
