Re: [Evolution] Question about filters.

Sorry about that. My account is a pop account.

That's what I assumed...

I did what you said and when I got to the last page in tab Receiving
options, I didn't have a "[x] Apply filters to new messages in INBOX on
this server". I am running Evolution 1.2 which came with RedHat 9.0.
Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

As I said, that only applies to IMAP accounts. No further speculations,
until you answer my question weather POP3 or IMAP account...

Have you tested your filters by marking the mails in question and
manually applying the filters with Ctrl-Y? If that does not what you
intended, your filters are plain wrong.

Have you tried that? What are the results?

Click one SPAM message (one of the mails, that shall be moved by your
filters), hold down shift and click another, not-SPAM message. Do
Actions / Apply Filters from the menu or hit Ctrl-Y.

Is the SPAM message moved? If not, your filters are broken.

Check your filters very carefully. Make sure, they are assigned to
'Incoming' rather than 'Outgoing'.

Maybe post your filter rules here and we can see...

If all fails, post your rules here...

I can't say anything, unless you have done all of the above.
