Possible explanations:

- Corrupted copy on a mirror.  Which mirror are you using?
- Corrupted download that Red Carpet didn't notice.
(in either of the two above cases, "rpm -K --nogpg
/var/cache/redcarpet/packages/evolution1.3-1.3.1-0.ximian.3.i386.rpm"
might be a useful diagnostic)
- full disk that Red Carpet didn't notice, leading to a truncated
package.

Removing any corrupt packages from /var/cache/redcarpet/packages would
be a good idea.

I can however download it from the Evolution Development Snapshots,
altho that one SegFaults when I start it.
