cheers,
Thanks. I guess if I'd looked more closely at my Sent messages I'd have
seen the line breaks in there. I allowed myself to be fooled by the fact
that the line breaks aren't inserted until the message is sent.
Are you saying that the lines don't wrap as you are typing? If they
don't wrap as you are typing, you must be in preformat mode, and line
breaks WON'T be inserted before the message is sent.
Occasionally when replying to messages, Evolution (actually gtkhtml)
incorrectly leaves you in Preformat mode. As it is I think the logic
works very well and occasionally having to force it into "Normal" mode
is acceptable to me...
Eric
That's very interesting as I also have exactly this problem. The lines don't wrap as I am typing a message
(e.g. right now!). Using evolution 1.2.2 on mdk 9.0.
Yeah, that's how your mail gets to me -- without line breaks.
Strange... :-/
As I am using Mandrake 9.0 and Evo 1.2.2, too: Whats you gtkhtml
version?
When writing a message like the last, what's the paragraph style? normal
or preformat?
