[Evolution] filters.xml and default line length

Hi,

I am running 1.4.0 on Solaris 9, 

2 smallish problems:

1. $HOME/evolution/filters.xml
This file does not exist, I tried just touching it
but now it complains about the contents, next I tried putting a xml
header in it, but it seems to nee more, can anybody supply me with a
file that will work so I can get rid of that error message?

2. Line length/Autowrap in compose
If you look at this mail, you see that my lines
are autowapped at 39 characters, I cannot find anything in the
preferences to control this.
