| linked to /dev/usb/ttyUSB1 or evolution is configured to  use /dev/usb/
| ttyUSB1 directly and the above port is accessible by the users group 
| (you may chmod a+rw /dev/usb/ttyUSB1 for testing purposes and see if it 
| works then). Thee "mini-howto" will not solve the problems with evolution.

Dear Michael,

I already have made the link and applied chmod 777 to the device.
I will download a newer version of evolution...
