this worked already.
2. you have to be able to query the schema subentry, and get the
list of objectClasses/attributes.
That was the step that's been missing. I have granted anonymous access
(because evo binds anonymously while querying these administrative
things - if I read my etherreal output right) to the rootDSE but I did
not grant it to cn=Subschema. After having done so everything worked out
fine.
The strange thing is that evo should be retrying the queries after it
authenticates if they've failed previously. I'll have a look.
