[Evolution] pop3 via ssl problem

Hi I've set up pop3-ssl server with self generated certs:
this is an error I get when trying to connect:

Unable to connect to POP server 192.168.0.1.
Error sending password: -ERR Maildir: No such file or directory

I'm not sure what's going on... can anyone help?
