Re: [Evolution] Dealing with Trash

You pray that the Trash folder will stop being a vFolder soon.

Either that or never use the delete function; instead drag messages to
be deleted to your own folder ("Rubbish"?) which you can then manage and
expunge as a real folder.

But there is no automated way of doing this. You may be able to set up
a filter (Delete [move to Trash vFolder] messages > 30 days old, not
labeled "Later" etc.) to do this somewhat automatically.

How do you deal with the Trash folder?

Previous clients I've used had a setting to automatically delete
messages of a certain age, and I would have that set to keep only a
month's worth. Since Evolution lacks this feature, I need to come up
with some other way to keep the Trash folder from using up my entire
hard drive, while at the same time preserving those messages that I
should not have trashed.
