Thanks, Jeff. Everyday is an educational experience since my conversion
to Open Source products. Glad you're considering adding this
functionality, as it will assist other newbies as they migrate from
windoze to different, but much better, software.

For example, I found via Google that if I'm reading a new email & want
to forward parts of the text, I can currently highlight that text, open
a new email, & press the middle button on my mouse to paste the text.
That works, but I think it would be easier for new users of Evolution to
have standard copy/paste, etc., functionality, regardless of whether
they're creating, forwarding, or reading a message.
technically, that *is* standard cut/copy/paste functionality :-)
this is X11, not Windows.
however, we are working on edit menu functionality...
