Re: [Evolution] latest version# /changelog hard to find on website

What Mandrake and Evolution version are you talking about specifically?

$ cat /etc/mandrake-release
$ rpm -q evolution

Mandrake Linux release 9.2 (FiveStar) for i586
evolution-1.4.5-1mdk

There is no such thing as an Evolution 1.4.5 package by Mandrake.

Wrong. There is an Evolution 1.4.5 package in Mandrake Cooker.

Thanks Lonnie, my bad.

Since it
says "9.2 (FiveStar)" instead of "9.2 (Cooker)" or the latest "10.0
(Cooker)", it is a 9.2 install with some Cooker packages, which could
possibly cause some problems.

Now, as I stand corrected, at least some notes:

- Installing cooker packages on stable systems is generally not
recommended. (yay, Frederic ;)

- You really should expect issues, when installing devel packages.

- Please report any issues with cooker packages to the appropriate
Mandrake Cooker Mailing list or the Mandrake bug-tracking system.
