[Evolution] Expunging folder error

Hi, 

After marking the messages for deletion when I try to expunge the
messages I get the following error : 
 
Error while expunging folder 
Writting to tmp mailbox failed. /home/vijay/evolution/local/Inbox/mbox:
Bad file descriptor. 

Previously I got this once or twice , but when I restarted evolution, I
was not getting it.How can solve this error ?
