To change from lpr to "kprinter --stdin" you must edit the following
line
output=command,lpr
Edited file to read: output=command,kprinter --stdin
I believe, the " charters where meant to be around it... ;-)
obviously replacing lpr with "kprinter --stdin".
You must restart evolution for the change to take effect.
Restarted Evolution and found that the "printer" selection section was
grayed out and the default was set to print to file. kprinter --stdin
didn't show up as an option.
I then changed an additional line from "driver=gnome-print-ps2" to
"driver=kprinter". That didn't help.
KDE is my default desktop. Perhaps there an analogous file for the K
Desktop Environment?
Evolution, as a Gnome application, will respect Gnome settings -- no
matter if there is an analogous file for KDE or not.
