Sorry for self-quoting, forgot 2 notes.
In a few weeks, I plan to backup everything important on this machine
and wipe it clean to install Mandrake 9.1.
I am currently running Evolution 1.2.4. Is there anything special I need
to backup or copy in order to keep all my emails and settings when I
decide to install Evolution on the new distro?
I just upgraded from Mandrake 9.0 to 9.1 without problems. All I did
(for Evo) was saving my entire ~/evolution/ directory. A compressed
tarball comes in handy.
Yes, I too did a clean install.
Make sure you move that tarball to a partition that won't be formated.
If you decide to save it to a CD, really use that tarball to presave the
rights of files.
(Feel free to ignore this post, if you know all that. ;-) I post it
cause there were a problem with missing rights after upgrade just some
weeks ago.)
