[Evolution] Font issue with evolution 1.0.8.99 w/ Connector

I'm sure that has been brought up before, but I couldn't find anything
in the past 6 months or so.

Fonts are not rendering properly on some emails I get that have
oblique(italics) font styles in them.  The fonts appear 

s p r e a d  o u t  l i k e  t h i s .

Has there been a solution for this?

It's happening with people that send me emails using Outlook.
