[Evolution] Free Busy solution?

I saw this project recently posted to Freshmeat:

and was wondering if anyone has had a chance to try it out.  It looks
pretty slick but since it requires Jboss, it might be a bit over my
head.  Not really sure, but the whole application server and j2ee
subjects usually leave me a little glassy-eyed.

Any other method out there to implement FB and group scheduling with Evo
only and not Exchange?
