[Evolution] manually tweaking "evolution today"?

hy there,

if i understood the dev's correctly there are plans (of lower priority)
to extend the functionality of the summary page in evolution. until this
is realized: are there any ways of tweaking the summary page manually?
p.ex. i don't need the weather report and the news headlines so i
removed it. what's annoying is that the space on the page seems still be
reserved for weather and news and the important informations (for me):
mail, schedule and tasks are squeezed onto the right side of the page.
any possibility to give them the whole page?
