Actually on those platforms that ship GNOME 2 exclusively (Red Hat 8),
this is currently the only way to do it.

Just look for the "[URL Handlers]" section.

That leeds further and let me dig deeper. I found that file (thats why i
pointed to that file), but didn't know any more.

On my machine (Mandrake 9.0) is Gnome and Gnome2 installed. But the
Gnome Control Center lack a lot of options. What is the config program
for Gnome (1) named, if that still works somehow on my Gnome2 Desktop?

Are there other programs, to configure my Gnome2 Desktop?
