I've moved this to evolution@ where it belongs.
This is _probably_ the same as bug 33668 as the followon mail suggested,
which is probably a duplicate of 33309 which has been fixed in CVS and
will make it into 1.2.1. It has to do with a namespace of "" which we
weren't properly handling.
I've asked for some more info on bug 33668, but if you can try a
snapshot (if they're out there?), see if that fixes.

I recently switched IMAP servers from Cyrus to DBMail
(http://www.dbmail.org) and discovered that I cannot create folders or
sub-folders with Evolution. It responds with the following error,
"Cannot create specified folder: Generic error" with a "OK" button. I
can create folders using KDE's KMail, Netscape Mail, and even MS
Outlook/Express. Currently I have to open KMail and create a new
folder/sub-folder and then it appears in Evolution.
I'm using Ximian Evolution 1.2.0 on SuSE Linux 8.0 (i686). Can this be
resolved? Let me know if there is any additional information I can
provide.
Thanks,
John
