[Evolution] Having to manually fire filters

I've noticed lately, that my mail filters will occasionally miss a
message. Then if I select that message, right-click and choose apply
filters, the message is then filtered properly.

Has anyone else seen this?

I used to have a lot of separate filters, but the processing of them
seemed very slow. I recently rewrote them into a few (<10) filters with
2 very large ones that handle SPAM. The filter processing seems to be
significantly faster that it was before.

This may have something to do with it, but I really can't prove (or
disprove) that.
