Are you using the Evolution-only install or the full install? Are you

I have tried it under Gnome, CDE, and KDE.
If you are running under CDE and executing `evolution' from the
command-line, that might be the problem. Try running
`evolution-nognome' instead.
I get command not found. There is no command listed under /opt/gnome/bin. I
even tried evolution --no-gnome and that didn't work either.
Otherwise, please try running `oaf-slay' and then `wombat' on the
command-line to see if wombat has some problem starting up. If wombat
starts up fine, run evolution without killing wombat and see if it spits
out some meaningful error message.
Nope it doesn't. Here is what I get:
$ oaf-slay
The following processes are still running on the system.
These processes will be terminated.
NOTE: Killing these processes may affect other applications
on the system that use OAF and bonobo.
4841 oafd
$ wombat
wombat-Message: Starting wombat
Then when I start evolution:
syss017h:/home/murphyk $ evolution
evolution-shell-WARNING **: Cannot access Bonobo/ConfigDatabase on wombat:
(IDL:Bonobo/Moniker/InterfaceNotFound:1.0)
Still no go.
Thanks,
