I'm experiencing a different, though related, issue with this. I connect
to my box from work via pine, but often leave Evolution running at the
same time (both connected to Courier imapd, all on the same box).. I often
move/delete/expunge messages via pine, and when I get home, I find that
evolution notes many of the deletes, but rarely sees the expunges. if I
hit F9 to download the folder data again, it doesn't do anything (or
occasionally it give me an error - haven't gotten one recently so I
couldn't tell you what it is). Fixing this usually requires
quitting/restarting Evolution.

So I hit "expunge" and 10-20 minutes later I get an error:
Unexpected response from IMAP server A00113 BAD Invalid sequence in Uid
Now I am running Cyrus IMAP4 v1.6.24 on the server.
I deleted ~/evolution//mail/imap/.../INBOX
I ran reconstruct -r on the user, and it still crashes.
The IMAP server does not appear to be doing much while this is going.
I can expunge largish mailboxes other than INBOX.
Netscape "moves to trash" just fine.
Any ideas? I can print DEBUG info (CAMEL trick), but it just shows the
delete call, and then nothing.
