Re: [Evolution] regular maintenance?

With the 1.0.x series the '.ibex' files can become somewhat fragmented,
leading to pretty slow performance. You can remove these, but it will
take a while to rebuild them next time you start evolution. In 1.1.x
the files work very differently, and automatically defragment.

With imap, the message 'cache' can keep growing, but thats really just
disk space that gets used.

I think other (mailer at least) files are re-written cleanly each time
or often, so you shouldn't need to do anything special.

What are the operations i should perform on a regular basis to keep my
Evolution folders in good shape?

I noticed a speed increase after i deleted the evolution-filter-log,
which was > 30 MB. But Evo is still much slower than long time ago.

I have ~ 120 folders, with tens of thousands of messages. Cleaning up
the messages is out of question.
