I haven't been having much luck with gnome-pilot as the "Copy From Pilot" setting for the ECalendar conduit simply duplicates all my calendar entries in Evolution. I am now trying to find a way to completely clear all calendar entries as I have thousands of them, mostly duplicates, and can't do it one by one. Any tips? Thanks.
Shut down Evolution Remove (or maybe *move* it to some other location in case I remember wrong) this file: $HOME/evolution/local/Calendar/calendar.ics Then do a "killev" and restart Evo; the calendar should now be empty. It might also be a good idea to remove the $HOME/evolution/local/Calendar/calendar.ics~ backup file, but I am not sure whether Evolution automatically restores the calender from this backup if the calendar.ics file goes missing. -- Janus Christensen ______________________________________________________ I want something that'll give me the stamina of a young werewolf, the vision of a shaman, the thoughts of a serial killer and the gentleness of a hungry vampire bat. -- Spider Jerusalem, Transmetropolitan
