You can't run mail without the shell either, its too tightly coupled
(yuck).
There was some talk about this a long time ago, I was under the
impression that work was going to be done on separating the components
so that tehy could be used by other apps.
For example, write a small bussines accounting app and include the
contacts manager from evolution so that both the finance and mail apps
share contacts...
Is this not going to be possible with 1.2?
