Using mutt to open Inbox  and only read messages, closing mutt,
open evolution, select Inbox, attempt to open the previously read msg,
 the error is:
                error while 'Retrieving message 399':
                cannot get message: 399 from folder
                //home/jerry2/evolution/local/Inbox/mbox
                the folder appears to be irrecoverably corrupted
        the above error appears on all msgs that are read, with the msg
        number corresponding to the read msg
        after the above error msg appears, the msg to marked for expunge
        attempting to expunge msg results in the following error:
                
                error while 'expunging folder':
                summary and folder mismatch,
                even after a sync

removing these two files and opening evolution does indeed show that
these msgs are there and are readable, as well as       deleteable.
