Re: [Evolution] signature fails to verify

Hi,

thanks for the reply.
I would happily give more information, but there are some problems:

1) I don't know wether i'm using pgp/mime or not (stupid, isn't it?).
2) I don't know what else info i could give (probably even more stupid).

I'm using evolution 1.0.8 in a german localized version received through
red-carpet. The security-settings for s/mime are greyed out, so that i
cannot alter anything here. My gpg-version is 1.0.7 on Linux Kernel
2.4.18.

What's the current version of evolution in CVS and when is a successor
for 1.0.8 coming to the stable branch or red-carpet?

Thanks again,

//Tom

P.S.: Sending mail to me peronally and cc it to the list seems senseless
to me (IMHO), because as a subscriber of the list i will receive it
twice. Any objection

Sorry, I misread that last message - I was seeing things.

it was application/pgp-signature not application/pgp...

anyways, you didn't give me anywhere close to enough info to tell what
the problem is, but since it looks like it is pgp/mime then my guess is
that you are seeing a bug in Evolution's pgp signature checking.

Already fixed in CVS as of months ago.
