Sorry, I misread that last message - I was seeing things.

it was application/pgp-signature not application/pgp...

anyways, you didn't give me anywhere close to enough info to tell what
the problem is, but since it looks like it is pgp/mime then my guess is
that you are seeing a bug in Evolution's pgp signature checking. 

Already fixed in CVS as of months ago.
