I had a problem like this a few weeks ago. Also with a mailinglist. But
if I remember well it was the Ximian mailinglist. When I changed the
filter to filter on to address containing @ximian.com, everything worked
fine again.

The strange thing is that I have more filters on mailinglists, and with
those I do not have this problem.
