Doing it at the camel level wouoldn't be the way to do it.  Its not
something that can conceivably map to the mailbox metaphor (which say,
news can).

Instead a new evolutionshellcomponent would provide the service and
export interfaces that other components could access, etc.

I guess a CamelProvider could be written which connects to Jabber/etc. 
I know there is a hack for the summary page which displays a list of
