Yes, this is a great idea. I think you should file a "wishlist" bug. Personally I don't know anybody who (has told me s/he) prefers HTML messages, but I'd really like to be able to select certain contacts that will either A) get PGP-signed or B) PGP-encrypted mail. Awesome idea! --Eric On Fri, 2001-10-12 at 18:44, Kris Newman wrote:
Something along the lines of the "Prefers HTML" switch? Hey, I like it! That way Evo stays "not broken", and I don't have to explain to my Mother that she needs to click an attachment. You could then set the default behaviour to encrypt and/or sign without worrying about those users who don't care about or can't handle encryption. Me, I put up with it)I'd put up with it too, but I'm actually thinking off the 50 or so people who will, every time I send them an email, call me and say, "I can't read your email". Or, in my case, the even worse result. I send an email to an potential employer, forget to turn off GPG signing, and get my email deleted because they can't read it. Most people would rather complain than figure out how to open the attachment.-- ************************************************************* Kris Newman http://www.khaosx.com mailto:krisnewman khaosx com ************************************************************* _______________________________________________ evolution maillist - evolution ximian com http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution_______________________________________________ evolution maillist - evolution ximian com http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution_______________________________________________ evolution maillist - evolution ximian com http://lists.ximian.com/mailman/listinfo/evolution
