I was e-mailing one of the developers of the gphoto project regarding some issues I was having with the development polaroid PDC700 drivers. ANYWAYS, i had to send him debug output of certain commands, and did so through simple copy/paste from the terminal (i acutall used the Insert > Inline Text File for the second of the four outputs). anyways, after inserting the second of the four outputs, the evolution composer window got VERY slow to respond to keypresses. total email size was ~575K of plaintext. in hindsight, perhpas it would have been easier to attach text files, but if i had done so, i'm sure i wouldn't have come across this bug. I'm using debian snapshots 0.99.0+cvs.2001.11.06.15.07, which seem to work flawlessly otherwise for normal day to day email behavior. I am also running kernel 2.4.13 (w/ the new VM), which has caused my machine to swap like crazy from time to time, but swap did not kick in during my mail composing session, so i don't think that's related to whatever swap issues i may be having. -Joe
