Re: [Evolution] viewing calendar

I ran evolution-calendar in a seperate terminal and here's what it gave
me.
(The messages from wombat and evolution are afterwords, though not very
interesting)

[sayres icarus sayres]$ evolution-calendar
cal-client-Message: cal_client_open_calendar(): open request failed
calendar-gui-Message: load_calendar_client(): could not issue open
request for the calendar client
cal-client-Message: cal_client_open_calendar(): open request failed
calendar-gui-Message: gnome_calendar_open(): Could not issue the request

*/ The following errors occured when I tried to add and then save a new
event /*

calendar-gui-CRITICAL **: file event-editor.c: line 2702
(event_editor_set_cal_client): assertion `cal_client_get_load_state
(client) == CAL_CLIENT_LOAD_LOADED' failed.

cal-client-CRITICAL **: file cal-client.c: line 1426

I'm not able to view any appointments in the calendar. If I make a new
appointment it does not appear in the window, though it does get written
to the calendar.ics file.
Does anyone know how to fix this or why evo isn't reading the calendar
file??

Do you get any error messages from the calendar?

Can you please make sure no Evolution-related processes are running,
then run evolution-calendar by hand on one terminal, and run evolution
from another one? That way you may be able to see if the calendar
prints out anything interesting.

You may also want to run the wombat in a separate terminal to see if
it spews anything.
