Do I understand the snapshot/release procedure correctly?

1. From now on, the snapshots will all be from this .10 branch, and the code
in this branch will only change for bug-fixes?
2. Soon - this branch will become the "official" .10 release, at which time
the snapshots will start coming from the HEAD branch again?
3. What does HEAD stand for, anyway?

Just wondering.

Is Ximian still hoping for a June, 2001 offical release 1.0 date?
