Re: [Evolution] Keybinding bug

Duane-

You're right, Evolution is not Outlook.  But, on the other hand, I think that for Gnome/Linux to gain a true foothold on the business market, there needs to be an email client that can interface w/ Exchange and Lotus Notes (Boo!  Hiss!  I know I know).  Its just the reality of it all.  The average end user expects to be able to send tasks and meetings via Outlook and whatever customized setup there is in Lotus.

Obviously, the point I was trying to make is being misunderstood. First,
I'm not sure how many people use Outlook - I imagine since M$ shoves it
down everyone's throat that a good number of people do use it - that's
what WIndows is for, stifling choice. I've used Netscape for years, but
I don't expect Evolution to mimic it. This would be silly to even
expect. Also, I'm not saying that it shouldn't look like Outlook,
although the new stuff M$ is putting out (i.e Office 2000, etc.) looks
like it is being designed by a kid with a crayon. I am saying that you
don't take keybindings that are standard for a platform and bastardize
them to match another product/platform. The bottom line is this is NOT
Outlook - and it is not running on Windows. If I wanted nothing more
that Outlook, then I would just run WIndows.
No flame intened - this is just my two cents.
